How do you know who a reader is?

They pronounce words wrongly!

You’re probably worried cause I just sent you a letter yesterday yes?😭 I’m sorry, but this has been ready to send for months and I just forgot💀.

It’s 3:37 am on a Sunday morning as I write this and since I have been obsessed with Hamilton even more the last few days, I can hear the final ringing notes of Who lives, who dies, who tells your story.

If you haven’t seen it yet, you should. Anyways, it makes me wonder, when we die, who tells our story?

As in, imagine if the person is a hater? What if they can’t spell or they just can’t be bothered and they cut all the tea. Imagine being president of the U.S. and when you die, all they write about you is ‘ she was cool’. You know those memes of people waking up at funerals? Imma pull up like that😭

In my case, I can’t help hoping for a really long time and a good enough one too. I can only ask that whoever tells my story puts out just the good. Please, don’t spread my dirty laundry the way they did Alex abeg😭

You see, friend, the last few weeks have been rough, the regular standard these past few months but not necessarily bad in a bad way ( I’m joking, if you see my pharmacy receipts, you might shed a tear or two💀).

Since I last wrote to you, I have made some new friends, reconciled a few relationships, crafted new recipes and of course, my rabbit died the day before the final testing.

Backstory: in Practical Psychology, we practice behavioral training on animals, modifying their behaviors in specific ways and practicing different type of learning theories on them. At first, the goal was to teach them a few tricks. It was going well until rabbit number one died. He was called Iceyy junior btw (surprise fan moment🙂‍↔️)

We got the second and didn’t hesitate to name him Odumodu seeing as research showed that rabbits with the cutest names died fast. Imagine our surprise when we got to the vet and found out she was female??? Let me finish writing this first so I can drag the seller in my DM.

Anyways, we renamed her Ginger and since the course work had changed to building a maze instead, we did just that. We sat down for four entire hours to build a maze, carrying cardboard through the rain and finally trained this rabbit. Only for her to die literally 24 hours before the finals. See, I’m lowkey glad the rabbit eventually died but I wanna be like Anos Voldigoad so I can do the resurrection spell and kill her again. Because you Dey craze??😭😭

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not writing this properly. I have come to the realization that I am upset, I still don’t do too well with death and rejection and I’m just here to rant.

Currently counting down the days until I return to my father’s house and I find that time (bursts into another Hamilton song) isn’t going fast enough. I can already imagine the exhilaration I would feel when all is said and done.
